About the artist
syd the mystic
Southern-California based artist & dancer. Aside from jewelry making, I am also a fire dancer, aerialist, & pole dancer. I was in foster care as a teen, and in my early twenties I struggled with homelessness and heavy substance abuse. After a long journey and a lot of self-healing work, I have succeeded in breaking many generational curses to create a beautiful new story for myself and my lineage. My creative projects have saved my life, allowing me to birth a stronger, happier, and more authentic version of myself. It is my mission to share my story and my art with the world. My hope is to inspire people from all walks of life and to prove that anything is possible through faith and perseverance.
